Mystics are just regular folk.

GK Chesterton, the poem's author.
I think it was G.K. Chesterton that said mystics destroy mysteries. A mystic knows how to live with contradiction and can laugh and walk freely in the world. It has been mysticism alone that has kept men sane from the beginning of the world. All the roads of logic lead to a vast variety of fashionable philosophies, that when taken to their conclusion, lead down dark alleys and dead ends. A true mystic only has to believe in one mystery and then everything else becomes lucid. Father Francis knew to believe in the one ultimate paradox that answers all questions. Jesus was that collision of infinite with finite, eternal with temporal, and God with man. Believe in the case for Jesus' divinity and the Good News only gets better. JMJ. Mick
